I don’t personally think wind turbines spoil views. In this area we’ve had other things like coal mines on the landscape historically and I don’t see this any differently.

Winder* is Octopus’ answer to the slow development of onshore wind energy in the UK in recent years. Built to accelerate the process of building new wind turbines, the tech platform matches available land with community support, grid capacity and wind data. The two turbines, named ‘#1 Fan’ and ‘#2 Fan’, are the first of many members of Octopus Energy’s ‘Fan Club’, and signal the company’s first foray into the generation market.
